    • Discuss the most recent CDC Guidelines for prevention of surgical site infections and their rationale.
    • Better manage the clinical issues related to the care of musculoskeletal infections in people who inject drugs and how to respond to these issues.
    • Understand the clinical importance of quantitatively significant reduced antimicrobial susceptibility of pathogens in tissue-based bacterial biofilms.
